Rec n Roll - Mobile Recreation Program

The Rec n Roll program brings FREE recreation, directly to you! Throughout the summer, the Rec n Roll van visits several different parks across Auburn. Parks staff lead various games, sports, and craft activities.  

Find us June 29-August 21, from 11:00AM-3:00PM at the following locations:

Mondays: Scootie Brown Park
Tuesdays: Lea Hill Park
Wednesdays: Terminal Park
Thursdays: Sunset Park

*All program sites align with the Auburn School District's (ASD) Free Summer Lunch Program. Grab a lunch and pop by to play!

Community Partnership Events:

Join us as we partner with the King County Library System to give away FREE books and host story time with our local librarians! 

  • Tuesday, June 30 | 12:30-1:00PM at Lea Hill Park
  • Thursday, July 9 | 1:00-1:30PM at Sunset Park
  • Tuesday, July 21 | 12:30-1:00PM at Lea Hill Park
  • Thursday, July 30 | 1:00-1:30PM at Sunset Park
  • Tuesday, August 4 | 12:30-1:00PM at Lea Hill Park

Participants will receive information on summer reading, signing up for a library card, and have the opportunity to take home and keep a book of their own. Books available in multiple languages while supplies last.

Explore Science with our White River Valley Museum!

Museum staff will be on-site leading STEM projects for participants 11:00AM-3:00PM:

  • Tuesday, August 18 | Lea Hill Park *Projects lead every thirty minuets.
  • Wednesday, August 19 | Terminal Park *Projects lead every thirty minuets

Visits from Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) to spay the kids, show off a fire truck, tour the kids inside, pass out stickers, answer questions, and more!
