Take a deep dive into analog printmaking and learn the fundamentals of water-based screen printing on FABRIC! Completion of Screenprint 101 is required to enroll in this class.
Students will learn to prepare fabric items for printing, create DIY print platens, and learn printing techniques for fabric. Supply list is different than Screenprint 101, please bring the following:
- Ready to go stencils for what you want to print. 2 Layers MAX. Recommended to arrive with stencils created for maximum printing time.
- Sketchbook/notebook, pencil and eraser
- Book of tracing paper, minimum size 8.5x11"
- Students must bring the fabric they want to print on. Can be t-shirts, bags, or otherwise but must be 100% cotton without excessive texture.
- Postmark will provide black fabric ink. If you want to use other colors, please bring your own. Must be FABRIC ink--paper ink will not work.
