Fitness for Moms class offerings:


Fitness Membership

Stay on track with your health and fitness goals with Auburn Community Fitness!  Join the instructors you know and love from the Auburn Community & Event Center for a variety of 60-minute classes each week.  Virtual classes are available on-demand in the fitness library. Sign up for your fitness membership by calling the Community Center: 253-931-3043 or stop by the front desk.

New Expanded Hours!

Bring the kids to the Community Center for some play time while you use the Fitness Center or a fitness class. 

Kids ages 6 months to 10 years.  Parents must remain on site, 2 hours max/visit.  $4 daily drop-in.  Add unlimited childcare to your fitness membership for $15/child/month. 

Schedule below:

Mondays - Fridays: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Mondays-Thursdays: 4:15 PM - 8:00 PM

Need a couple of hours to run errands or catch up with a friend?  Bring the kids for Kids Playtime during drop-in hours and get up to two hours of care from our National Background Checked staff.  $10/session.  Kids Playtime is available for children ages 2-10; children must be potty trained.


Fitness Memberships

The monthly Fitness Membership entitles members to unlimited Fitness classes, open gym programs, unlimited use of the fitness center and full access to Fitness Class Library. 

Fees: 

  • Adults (ages 18 and over): $25/month
  • Seniors (age 50+) or Teens (age 12-17): $20/month*
  • Adult Membership w/ Unlimited Childcare
    Adult + 1 Child- $35/month 
    Adult + 2 Children- $50/month
    Adult + 3 Children- $65/month

*You may be eligible for a FREE Fitness Membership!  Auburn Community Fitness partners with Silver Sneakers and Optum Health to offer their subscribers a free membership.  Stop by the Community Center front desk to see if your health plan participates and if you are eligible.

Want to run a 5k? Or maybe you're just looking for a supportive community to get moving with. Whether you're looking to walk, jog or run we've got just the group for you! Join the Auburn Community Fitness team for a Saturday morning meet up at Les Gove Park for a 5k (3.1 miles) around the path. Running experience is not required; walkers are welcome. 5k Training program is available upon request. Registration not required. Check-in on the back patio of the Community Center. No meetup 6/3.

New Class! Foam Roller Recoveryfoam rolller recovery

Release tightness, soreness, and improve range of motion with foam rolling.  Similar to a deep tissue massage, foam rolling is a self-myofascial release technique.  We will work segments of the body; muscles in the lower/upper legs, pelvis, back and shoulders.

Tai Chi for Beginners

Tai Chi for beginners uses slow, gentle movements, mindfulness and breath work to increase energy, strength and focus while decreasing stress in both the body and mind. This program was specifically designed to be a gradually increasing exercise program that is enjoyable and effective. It is highly recommended for people with Diabetes and pre-Diabetes. Taught by a certified Tai Chi for Health instructor, this class can be modified to meet individual needs.

Fitness Fanatics Summer Mixer

Calling all fitness fanatics! Have a FAN-tastic time with this special edition fitness event- Summer Mixer! Join us for an hour long fitness challenge that will test your limits, leave you laughing and motivate you for more. This event is free, brought to you by Auburn Community Fitness. All activities will occur outdoors, in Les Gove Park- rain or shine.

SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life)

SAIL is a strength, balance and fitness program for adults age 50 and older.  Exercises to improve strength, balance and fitness are the most important activity to stay active and reduce chances of falling.  SAIL consists of a warm up, light aerobics, strength & balance training and cool down.  All exercises can be done seated or standing. 
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:20 AM at the Auburn Community & Event Center - 910 9th Street SE. 

SAIL is not part of Fitness Membership.   Class is free, contact the Senior Center to register at 253-931-3016.
